Amal Mohamoud

  • My therapy approach is rooted in empathy, validation, and a commitment to empowering those I work with. I specialize in supporting individuals, couples, and families through various life transitions, helping them build resilience and achieve balanced emotional and spiritual well-being. I integrate different therapeutic modalities to provide tailored support to my clients.

  • My passion for mental health advocacy is personal. After losing my mother, Hana, to suicide, I chanelled my grief into healing and self-improvement. Through faith, counselling, family, and community, I found solace and a renewed sense of purpose. This experience drives me to raise awareness about mental health, particularly within marginalized communities.
I am dedicated to breaking the silence around mental health challenges and empowering others to seek help. For me, this work is not just a profession it’s both a calling and a passion. My life’s motto, "To the world, you may be one person, but to one person, you may be the world," guides my work every day.
